Pre-treatment Plants

We design the pre-treatment plants keeping in mind the following aspects:

  • Product
  • Types of chemicals
  • Making of chemicals
  • Size of the component
  • The geometry of the component
  • Production output
  • Availability of the fuel
  • Height available in the shed
  • Weight of the component
  • Draining holes provided/available in the component
  • Water pockets in the component
  • Buoyancy
  • The geographical parameters of the installation place
  • Environmental aspects
  • Safety for the hazardous chemicals
  • Type of material handling system used to handle the component
  • Customer requirement.

With the above-mentioned aspects and also to make available our pre-treatment plants for years, we are also implementing the following special features to our design.

  • Modular constructions – In case of spray pre-treatment system our plant can be extended/reduced at a later stage and can be dismantled and re-erected any number of times.
  • Complete construction with heavy gauge steel/stainless steel for the tanks. However, for spray pre-treatment tunnel, it would be with a 1.6 T SS
  • The spray pre-treatment plant shall be supplied in knockdown condition and shall be erected at the site. This ensure the fitment of pre-treatment in the existing plant.
  • All pumps are of centrifugal back pull out type. Hence easy to maintain.
  • The pumps are magnetic/mechanical seal type
  • Sufficient space between two zones and water mist spray provided in between two stations.
  • Heating system can be from electrical, hot water boiler, plate heat exchangers; direct gas/oil fired heating system or any other special methods.
  • Imported burners to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
  • The tunnel is placed on the tank and hence no wastage of heat or spillage of chemical.
  • Entry/exit fume extraction fans.
  • The last stage would be air washing zone by using imported air knife. This minimizes the threat of water drying and consumes a very little compressed air
  • Maintenance access doors to enter into the tunnel with lighting arrangement
  • Gratings provided for the easy walkway inside the tunnel.
  • All headers and risers are of either SS/PVC fitted with quick release couplings for easy maintenance.
  • Bypass system from the pump to header makes more accurate control of the chemical spray with proper adjustment of pressure.
  • We shall consider more than three to four times capacity of the chemical storage tank when compared to the spraying capacity. This ensures in maintaining the constant temperature during spraying.
